2021-06-09On June 9th 2021, Genhouse Bio, a biotech company focusing on development of next-generation anti-cancer therapeutics, announced a $31M+ series A financing led by Shenzhen Capital Group, Viva Biotech, In Capital, Legend Star, Hengbo Tongzhou Capital and Sanhua Hongdao Capital. Also participating was Genhouse’s existing investor: Sharewin Capital.
Genhouse is an innovative biotech company targeting the global market, the focus of which is developing novel small molecule anti-cancer therapeutics. It has built R&D centers in Suzhou and Shanghai exceeding 5000 m2. Genhouse has established in-house technology platforms to drive new drug development and built a distinguished pipeline with more than 10 drug candidates.
In 2020, Genhouse successfully out-licensed its SHP2 inhibitor to HUYABIO, an international biotech company, which verifies Genhouse’s global innovation capability. In March 2021, CDE accepted IND application of GH35 (a KRAS G12C inhibitor). Besides GH35, its SHP2 inhibitor, GH21 is also expected to enter clinical trial this year.
As Genhouse becomes a clinical-stage biotech company, its drug development journey will enter a new stage. Genhouse will keep digging into the RAS signaling pathway— also developing a SOS1 inhibitor and pan-KRAS inhibitor with full speed. At the same time, the more innovative Pipeline 2.0 with higher global value and competency will also make significant progress this year.
