Integrated Technology Platforms

With the application of Smart Design to drug discovery, Genhouse Bio has built a streamlining and modularizing system of drug development and intergrated technology platforms for drug design, evaluation and optimization. with these platforms, Genhouse is able to speed up drug development and improve the efficiency of lead identification.

  • Translational Medicine

Biomarkers, as one of the most effective diagnostic tools in cancer, are extremely important in cancer diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. The translational medicine platform of Genhouse uses biomarkers to drive original innovation—search for suitable biomarkers to identify novel targets with prominent therapeutic potential and more precisely guide the patient stratification and efficacy evaluation in clinical development.

  • CADD+

Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) Platform is a method based on quantum mechanics and molecular dynamics of molecular mechanics to predict drug-target interaction for drug design, screening and optimization. The CADD team of Genhouse has accumulated plentiful experience in structure-based drug design (i.e. molecular docking, virtual screening, scaffold hopping, de novo drug design, homology modeling, conformational analysis and quantum chemical calculation), ligand-based drug design (i.e. pharmacophore mapping and QSAR analysis) and prediction of physicochemical and DMPK properties. Meanwhile, through collaboration with artificial intelligence drug design companies, Genhouse is actively applying deep learning to assist drug design, expand drug discovery methods and improve the efficiency of drug development.

  • Structural Biology

Structural biology is the field of biology that studies protein structure and structure-activity relationship. Genhouse has built a robust technology platform for protein expression, purification and crystallization. Through the collaboration with National Center for Protein Science Shanghai, Genhouse has gained the capability to illustrate the molecular mechanism behind drug-target interaction, which serves as the cornerstone for rational drug design.

  • Druggability Optimization

The druggability of drug candidates is consist of druglikeness, physicochemistry, biochemistry, pharmacokinetics and toxicity. As new drug development requires extensive time and investment, performing druggability evaluation in parallel with early-stage drug design and SAR research is a powerful means to lower risk. Genhouse applies the concept of Smart Design, utilizes both SAR and SPR optimization to improve the efficiency of drug development.

  • Efficacy Evaluation

Genhouse has systematically built various in vitro/in vivo efficacy models with international standards to evaluate preclinical efficacy of drug candidates with different MoAs using CDX, PDX and syngeneic models. The efficacy evaluation platform is able to provide solid evidence of efficacy and safety to steer clinical development.
